Personal Statement
“Educators, students, and parents need to work together in achieving our goal of preparing students for their futures. We must teach students about personal and career exploration and the college research and application process. Students need to know how important it is to research the vast options in front of them in order to choose the best “fit” for them personally when choosing higher education options. We must challenge our students to meet the increasing expectations placed on them by prospective institutions of higher learning and future employers to best prepare them for the transition beyond high school.”
